Follow these steps to copy ID Cards on HP LaserJet Printers:
- Lift the scanner lid, and then place the ID card you want to copy in the left-rear corner of the scanner glass, with at least one inch of space between the edges of the card and the edges of the scanner.
- Close the scanner lid, and then press the ID Copy button.
- The first side of the ID card scans as indicated by the blinking power light.
- With the first side of the ID card scanned, a Warning icon on the printer control panel blinks.
- Lift the scanner lid, and then turn the ID card over and place it below where it was originally placed when scanning the first side.
- Close the scanner lid, and then press the ID Copy button again.
- The second side of the ID card scans, and then prints both sides of the card on a single side of a page.
- The printer returns to ready status and can be used as normal.
