Follow these steps to change contrast and resolution fax settings on HP LaserJet Pro MFPs:
- On the printer control panel, touch Setup.
- Touch Fax Setup, Advanced Setup, and then Lighter/Darker.
- Adjust the contrast using the plus or minus signs, and then touch OK.
- Touch Fax Resolution to change the default resolution from Fine to another option.
- Choose your desired setting and the changes are applied on all subsequent faxes.
