Follow these steps to create phone book entries for faxing on HP LaserJet Pro MFPs:
- On the home screen of the printer control panel, touch Fax, and then touch Fax Menu.
- Touch Phone Book Setup, Individual Setup, and then touch any unassigned number from the list.
- Use the touchscreen keyboard to type a name for the entry, and then touch OK.
- Enter the recipient fax number, and then touch OK to save the entry as a speed dial.
- To set up a group-dial, continue adding an individual entry for each fax number you want in the group.
- With all entries saved, touch Group Setup.
- Touch any unassigned number from the list.
- Use the touchscreen keyboard to type a name for the group, and then touch OK.
- Touch the check box next to an entry to add them to the group.
- Touch Done Selecting to save the entries as a group-dial.
- To send a fax to an entry in the phone book, place a document on the scanner glass or load it into the document feeder.
- From the home screen of the printer control panel, touch Fax.
- On the keypad, touch the Fax Phone Book icon.
- Touch the name of the individual or group entry, and then touch Start Fax to send the scanned pages to the fax number saved with the entry.
